Visiting Hours and Guidelines

We understand the important role family and friends play in the healing process, and we encourage visitors to come when it is best for their loved one.

Family And Friends Help With Healing

We know having family and friends present means a lot to our patients and can significantly aid in their healing process. We have the same goal – to get your loved one healthy! A big part of this is continuing to provide a quiet, healing environment. Please be considerate of those around you.

Although rare, there may be times when the number of family and guests need to be limited. We thank you ahead of time for your understanding.

Children As Visitors

Children are welcome to visit as they too are important members of the family. For their safety and the safety of our patients we ask that these guidelines be followed:

  • Hushed voices and no running
  • Keeping shoes on at all times
  • Staying with an adult (other than the patient) at all times
  • Please note, children are not usually allowed in the intensive care units

Please prepare the child before the visit for the patient’s severity of illness.

    Health And Safety

Be Well. Please do not visit the hospital if you have any flu symptoms, including a fever over 100 degrees, cough, sore throat, runny nose, rash or diarrhea, or if you have recently been exposed to someone with any of these symptoms.

Wash Your Hands. Be sure to wash or sanitize your hands before and after visiting your loved one. Proper hand hygiene is the best way to reduce the spread of germs.
