Overall Healthier Living - offered in-person and virtually

FREE 6-week workshop  for Adults with chronic conditions or  ANYONE interested in improving their overall health and well-being.  Healthier Living gives you the tools to make positive changes and EMPOWERS you to become an active self-manager of your health and well-being! Workshops meet once per week for 6 consecutive weeks, Each weekly session is 2.5 hours.

Diabetes Empowerment Education Program – offered in-person and virtually

FREE 6-week workshop series for adults with diabetes, pre-diabetes or a family history of diabetes, or ANYONE interested in learning more about diabetes.Managing diabetes can be complex and sometimes frustrating. Let us help! This workshop is designed to teach you what diabetes does to your body,  prevention strategies, and diabetes management skills. Workshops meet once per week for 6 consecutive weeks, Each weekly session is 2 hours

Chronic Pain Self-Management – offered in-person and virtually

FREE 6-week workshop series for adults designed to teach participants how to take control of their chronic pain and live a healthier, happier life. Simple yet effective movements/exercises and mind-body relaxation techniques, provide participants with alternatives to medication for pain management. Workshops meet once per week for 6 consecutive weeks. Each weekly session is 2.5 hours.

Workplace Overall Healthier Living – offered virtually only

FREE 6-week workshop  for working Adults with chronic conditions or  ANYONE interested in improving their overall health and well-being.  Workplace Healthier Living gives you the tools to make positive changes at work, including stress and time management, work-life balance and techniques to deal with back pain. Workshops meet twice per week for 6 consecutive weeks. Each weekly session is 1 hour.

Matter of Balance – offered in-person only

FREE 8-week workshop designed to improve your balance, make you stronger and more flexible, and reduce your fear of falling. If you have concerns about falling, this workshop is for you? A matter of balance emphasizes practical strategies to increase strength and activity levels and reduce your fear of falling. Workshop meets once per week for 8 consecutive weeks. Each session is 2 hours.

About Healthier Living

Register today for a FREE Healthier Living program workshop offered both in-person and virtually via Zoom. Choose from Overall Healthier Living, Diabetes, Chronic Pain, or Matter of Balance (in-person only). Workshop size is small, and sessions are very interactive.

Workshops are offered at convenient locations throughout Maricopa County's east valley communities including Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, Mesa, Sun Lakes, Apache Junction, and Ahwatukee.  Workshops meet once per week for 6-8 weeks, for 2 - 2.5 hours each week.  Family members and caregivers are encouraged to attend free of charge. Free workshop book or eBook included.
