Peripheral arterial disease, or vascular disease, is a serious condition referring to the blockage or narrowing of blood vessels – usually in your legs and feet.

Angioplasty – a non-invasive procedure in which a balloon catheter opens blood flow in the body's arteries and veins.
Bypass grafting – a surgical procedure to re-route blood around an obstruction in the artery.
Plaque excision – a non-invasive procedure for removal of plaque the artery.
Stenting – mesh-like metal tubes that can be expanded inside arteries to hold them open in addition to balloon angioplasty.
Thrombolysis – a non-invasive procedure in where clot-removing drugs via a catheter are injected into the leg arteries.
Vascular surgery – surgery of the arteries and veins, including minimally-invasive catheter procedures and surgical reconstruction.
