Outpatient Surgery Center
Dominican’s joint-venture outpatient ambulatory surgery center, Santa Cruz Surgery Center, is conveniently located across the street from the hospital at 3003 Paul Sweet Road, Santa Cruz. The Center’s mission is to provide first-class surgical services in a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment – offering a high quality, service-oriented alternative to a traditional hospital for your surgical procedure.
A partnership with local community physicians, the Santa Cruz Surgery Center open Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. All surgery center physicians have privileges at Dominican Hospital. They perform more than 2,600 surgical cases per year at the Surgery Center. The Surgery Center offers four operating rooms, one procedure room, and seven recovery-care center beds.
All services provided at the Santa Cruz Surgery Center are outpatient procedures, where patients can go home the same day or within 24 hours. Procedures include:
