Support Groups and Programs

Glendale Memorial offers a number of support programs, including support groups for cancer patients and stroke survivors. Come share your experience, learn from others, and make new friends. Be a part of a group that can help answer questions and ease your mind about what lies ahead.


Armenian Cancer Support Group

Join us every Thursday for free weekly sessions from 5:30 to 7 p.m. for topics including managing fatigue, nutrition and weight management to strengthen mind, body and soul.

Colorectal Cancer Support Group

Our Colorectal Cancer Support Group is designed to give patients with colorectal cancer, their loved ones and caregivers, the opportunity to connect and bond with others who are dealing with or have dealt with similar issues. It's a way to share and exchange your experiences and information.

Each session meets from 5:30 – 7 p.m. in the Cancer Center Auditorium.

  • **November – No Group Meeting
  • **December 5

**November and December class is combined and will take place on the first Tuesday of December.**

Stroke Support Group

Learn new information, resources, and strategies for stroke survivors and their families to live active, satisfying lives. Learn how to reduce the risk of recurrent stroke and build new confidence.
