About Dignity Health Nevada

Compassionate care is the essence of who we are and what we do. As the community’s only nonprofit, faith-based healthcare system, Dignity Health – St. Rose Dominican’s hospitals have been guided by the vision and core values of the Adrian Dominican Sisters for over 75 years.

The Adrian Dominican Sisters are women of vision and timeless values. They draw strength and purpose from God and their rich past. A group of seven Adrian Dominican Sisters - who had arrived in Adrian, Michigan, in the late 1800's from Germany - agreed to come to southern Nevada in 1947. These seven Adrian Dominican Sisters arrived to serve the Henderson community. Their fellow Sisters continue to do the same today at the three St. Rose Dominican hospitals in southern Nevada.

The Rose de Lima Campus opened in 1947 on Lake Mead Parkway in "old" Henderson, the Siena Campus opened in 2000 in the Green Valley area of Henderson, and the San Martín Campus opened in southwestern Las Vegas in 2006. As Henderson and Las Vegas grow, Dignity Health’s St. Rose Dominican hospitals will continue to grow as will the Sisters’ mission of serving people in need.

In addition to our three acute care hospitals, four Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican neighborhood hospitals now serve Las Vegas residents. Our neighborhood hospitals were designed specifically to increase access to high-quality emergency care in under served areas.

Dignity Health provides family health services through six Community Outreach/Community Wellness Centers in Henderson and Las Vegas. These centers provide a large variety of programs, classes and support groups designed to nurture good health and well being.

In July 2013, the first Dignity Health Medical Group Nevada location opened in Las Vegas. It was soon followed by additional offices in Henderson and Las Vegas. The physicians at our Dignity Health Medical Group Nevada medical clinics offer office appointments for family medicine, internal medicine, pediatric medicine, neurology, pulmonology, and rheumatology. The Dream Fund Pediatric Endocrinology Clinic in Henderson, which opened in 2013, provides specialized treatment for children with diabetes.

The St. Rose Dominican Health Foundation supports St. Rose Dominican hospitals through comprehensive fundraising initiatives. Generous contributions from donors strengthen St. Rose's ability to purchase equipment, expand facilities, provide high-quality healthcare, and offer community outreach programs.

St. Rose Dominican Health Foundation is pleased to be the exclusive partner of Chlidren's Miracle Network in southern Nevada, raising funds to provide equipment, health education, and charity care for children ins St. Rose Dominican's pediatric department.

St. Rose Dominican is much more than a hospital system that strives to provide excellent care. It is a living legacy - a culture of quality, of compassion, of dedicated community service, and the enduring core values of dignity, justice, collaboration, stewardship and excellence.
