Teressa Conley Named President/CEO

Rod A. Davis, President/CEO of Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican, announced today that Teressa Conley has been promoted to the permanent position of president and chief executive officer for the Rose de Lima Campus, effective September 30, 2013.

Conley has served in this role on an interim basis since October 2012. She will also continue as chief operating officer for the Siena Campus.

The list of Conley’s achievements at St. Rose is long. She provided oversight for the recent completion of an expanded Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), which opened in July, and the addition of a four-story parking garage at the Siena Campus, which opens October 1. She is currently directing the expansion of the Emergency Department, slated to open in 2014, as well as construction of the five-story hospital tower, which is expected to break ground in October 2013.

“Teressa is a knowledgeable, experienced and accomplished leader, clinician and academic,” said Davis, president/CEO of Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican and senior vice president of operations, Dignity Health Nevada. “She holds five different academic degrees, including a master’s degree in critical care nursing, a master’s of business administration and a doctorate in public administration.

Before joining St. Rose, Conley served as chief operations officer and chief nursing officer for Dignity Health’s Northridge Hospital–Sherman Way Campus. Prior to that role, she was chief nursing officer for Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Riverside, California. While at Riverside, she was responsible for relocating the medical center to its current location in Moreno Valley. She also served in prior administrative and clinical roles with San Bernardino Community Hospital, Loma Linda Medical Center and the Minneapolis Veterans Hospital in Minnesota.
