Philip Bonino RN Named Chief Nursing Executive

Philip Bonino has been named chief nursing executive (CNE) for Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican's Rose de Lima Campus, providing oversight of the nursing staff functions at the hospital.

Bonino has been a nurse manager with St. Rose Dominican since 2006 and has more than 30 years of experience in emergency and critical care services. Before his permanent appointment as CNE, Bonino formerly served in the role on an interim basis.

Bonino holds an associate’s degree in nursing from Catholic Medical Center School of Nursing in Queens, NY and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Ameritech College. Bonino is also in the process of completing a master’s degree in nursing leadership from Chamberlain College of Nursing and is a member of the Nevada Organization of Nurse Leaders. Bonino is known for his thoughtfulness and empathy, winning multiple internal awards, including Leader of the Year in both 2013 and 2014.
