We understand that you want to be able to visit your loved ones
when it’s convenient for you. Therefore, our hospitals are
open to visitors 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
All of our hospitals' main doors are locked from 9 p.m. - 5 a.m., so during that time,
all visitors must enter through the Emergency Entrance.
Please understand, however, that we may need to restrict these privileges at times either because of the patient’s request or medical necessity. Specialty nursing units set their own hours. Please check with the nursing station when you arrive or call in advance to make sure the patient is well enough to receive visitors.
Health and Safety
Please do not visit the hospital if you have a cold, communicable disease or any flu symptoms, including a fever over 100 degrees, cough, sore throat, runny nose, rash or diarrhea, or if you have recently been exposed to someone with such symptoms.
Please wash or sanitize your hands before and after entering your loved one’s room. Proper hand hygiene is the best way to reduce the spread of germs.
We discourage visits by children under 12 as it may be hazardous to their own and other patients’ health. Exceptions will certainly be made based on individual needs and circumstances.
No Smoking at St. Rose Dominican
We are committed to the health and safety of our patients, visitors and staff, so all tobacco products are prohibited in all areas of the hospital campuses. People who smoke will need to refrain from smoking or leave the campus to smoke. If you are a patient who smokes, nicotine replacement therapy is available. Please notify your doctor or nurse.
