There are many attributes that make the Marian Family Medicine Residency Program a highly desirable program for residency training - both our staff and residents strive for academic and operational excellence. In 2012, we opened a new 191-bed, state-of-the-art regional medical center and recently completed construction of our new Family Medicine Center.
We encourage prospective physician residents and interested community members to browse our Marian Family Medicine Residency Program pages to learn more about our residency program, our stunning new hospital and our region - the breathtakingly beautiful Central Coast of California.
Special Note: The AOA, ACGME and AACOM recently agreed to a single accreditation system for graduate medical education programs. As a result, programs with AOA accreditation will be required to transition by June 30, 2020. Marian was among the first programs to make this shift and has already completed this transition. The residency program at Marian is now accredited through ACGME with osteopathic recognition. For more information, please click here.
