Find the right Medicare Advantage plan for you

Consider Medicare Advantage plans

If you are, or will soon be, eligible for Medicare, you will have decisions coming up about your health insurance and it’s important to understand what your options are.

What is a Medicare plan?

Original Medicare provides coverage for things like inpatient hospital stays (Part A) and doctors office visits and outpatient care (Part B), but it can leave you with higher out-of-pocket costs such as copayments, coinsurance and deductibles and it does not cover prescription drugs (Part D).

A Medicare Advantage plan (also known as Medicare Part C) is a plan offered by a private insurance company that contracts with Medicare to provide all your Original Medicare Parts A (hospital coverage) and B (medical coverage) benefits, and may also offer some extra benefits that Original Medicare doesn't cover.
