Select your estimated hospital arrival time and wait at home until your time time be seen with InQuicker. You will check-in with an admitting nurse and on average can expect to see a doctor in less than 20 minutes. An emergency doctor will assess your situation and determine the next appropriate level of care.
24-Hour Emergency Room
Mercy Medical Center Redding’s Emergency Room (ER) features state-of-the-art trauma bays, and 28 private rooms equipped with advanced medical technology for highly efficient diagnosis and treatment.
Our goal is to have all patients seen quickly. Evaluation in the emergency room usually takes up to three hours (during peak times you may be with us longer). After you’ve been triaged, or evaluated, diagnostic tests like CT scans may be needed. If that’s the case, we may need more time to process the tests and get the results back to the emergency doctors.
Level II Trauma Treatment
Our Level II Trauma Center provides board certified doctors, skilled surgeons, sub-specialists, and all the necessary support services and equipment to care for all medical conditions including seriously injured trauma patients on a 24-hour basis. This includes monitoring all phases of care from pre-hospital transport to rehabilitation. Mercy is one of only a few hospitals in the nation with a dedicated Orthopedic Traumatologist.
