Staffed by licensed medical technologists and certified phlebotomists, the Laboratory provides comprehensive laboratory services to our patients from 6:30 a.m. – 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. Patients must check in by 2:45 p.m. in order to be seen for lab work same day.
The Laboratory maintains ongoing quality control, proficiency testing and performance improvement programs designed to objectively and systematically monitor and evaluate the quality of our services. This includes accreditation with the College of American Pathologists and the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act. The College of American Pathologists Laboratory accreditation program also helps Mercy Gilbert Medical Center achieve a consistently high level of service throughout the healthcare system.
