Support Groups

Mercy Medical Center offers free monthly support groups. Come share your experience, learn from others, and make new friends. Be a part of a group that can help answer questions and ease your mind about what lies ahead.

Breastfeeding Support Group

A weekly support group for breastfeeding moms, which includes: discussing questions/concerns you have about breastfeeding, sharing ideas and experiences that may be helpful to other breastfeeding moms, and a breastfeeding educator to help the group with questions.

The Breastfeeding Support Group meets every Wednesday.

Cancer Support Group

This group is for anyone with a cancer experience to share stories, learn from, and make new friends. Anyone who survived or is battling cancer such as Lymphoma, breast cancer, or leukemia is welcome to attend this free support group. Family and friends are always welcome.

To Register: Registration is not required to attend this support group.

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Support Group

The Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)  support group gives participants an opportunity to share their experiences with others living with this condition.

Diabetes Support Group

Diabetes can seem to be an overwhelming disease because it impacts so many areas of your daily life. It’s important to have support from family, friends and from other people with diabetes. Don't underestimate the importance of peer support.Our Diabetes Support Group meets on the first Tuesday of every month.

Stroke Support Group

Open to anyone that has survived a stroke, as well as family and caregivers. This group is a place where survivors can come together for opportunities to share their stories, discuss problem solving and build new friendships.
