This technologically advanced room - which combines imaging capabilities, interventional procedures, and surgery in one convenient area - allows us to perform routine procedures such as stent placements and heart bypass; as well as the latest advanced heart procedures including TAVR for aortic valve replacements. Our other new advanced heart procedure WATCHMAN™, is performed in our specialized Cath Lab suite to help prevent blood clots in the heart that could lead to a stroke.

Northridge Hospital is proud to offer Acessa – the latest technique for minimally-invasive uterine fibroid treatment. Acessa serves as a beneficial alternative to other forms of fibroid treatment, such as hysterectomy. In the outpatient procedure, most women are able to keep their uterus; obtain rapid and significant relief from symptoms; and a faster recovery with most resuming normal activities in four-to-five days.

The da Vinci robotic surgical system makes surgeries more accurate and convenient, and less invasive. This means less time in the hospital and faster recoveries at home so you can get back to life quicker than ever before. Many general, bariatric (weight loss), liver/pancreatic, cardiac, gynecologic, urologic, and kidney surgeries/procedures can be performed with the daVinci system.

Northridge Hospital has invested in the CORI robotics-assisted system which advances the way orthopedic surgeons perform partial and total knee replacement surgeries. Every CORI procedure is based on each patient’s unique anatomy. The CORI System does not perform the procedure; rather it assists the surgeon by providing accuracy and precision which is critical to the success of the surgery. This level of accuracy can help improve the function, feel, and potential longevity of the knee implant.
