Physiatrist, Medical Director

 

Hoyman Minx Hong, MD, Medical Director, Center for Pain Management, is board certified in pain medicine and physical medicine and rehabilitation. He was the team physician for the University of San Francisco, Department of Athletics and the official tour physician with the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA). He believes in conservative management techniques for treating back pain and strongly encourages incorporating exercise into his treatment plans. He completed medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, his internship at University Medical Center/UCSF in Fresno, and his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Stanford University Medical Center in Palo Alto. Physiatrist

Hoylond Hong, MDboard certified in pain medicine and physical medicine and rehabilitation. He combines conservative care and diagnostic techniques such as nerve conduction studies and spine injections to identify and treat underlying musculoskeletal/nerve disorders potentially causing common neck and back pain. He completed medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, his internship at Saint Joseph Mercy Oakland in Pontiac, Michigan, and his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Stanford University Medical Center in Palo Alto. Anesthesiologist

Christopher Keys, MDboard certified in anesthesiology, completed medical school at Stanford University School of Medicine, his internship at Mt. Zion Hospital and Medical Center in San Francisco (now part of UCSF), and his anesthesia residency and fellowship at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Keys has been on staff at Saint Francis Memorial Hospital for more than 20 years and has been the chair for the department of anesthesiology at Saint Francis Memorial Hospital since 2011. Psychologist

Israel B. Rosales, PhD, is the psychologist at the Center for Pain Management. He holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a B.A. in Psychology from Yale University. For the past 20 years he has specialized in the treatment of chronic pain, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and depressive and anxiety disorders. He provides cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), biofeedback, mindfulness training, presurgical psychological evaluations, and medical-legal evaluations in English and Spanish. Doctor Referral Required

Patients can be seen only after the Center for Pain Management has received a referral from your doctor. Referrals must be on a prescription pad with the name, address and telephone number of the referring physician. Your appointment will be made upon receipt of the referral.
