Oncology Services are provided by Vantage Oncology.

Vantage Oncology offers technological advancements that are truly making a difference in the lives of people living with cancer. With breakthrough cancer treatments, St. Bernardine Medical Center and Vantage are working to win the war against cancer. And we're raising a flag of hope.

Therapy

You probably know about radiation therapy and chemotherapy, but some of the most innovative cancer treatments used today involve immune therapies/vaccines and gene testing. We also offer diagnostic radiology (mammography, MRI, multi-slice CT, PET, ultrasound and nuclear medicine) to be proactive in catching the disease before it's a problem as well as for those who are potentially at higher risk for cancer.

Because dealing with cancer can be a life-altering experience, St. Bernardine Medical Center offers support groups so that you and your family can spend time with other people who understand exactly what you are going through. We believe that it is imperative to talk about your feelings and to share your hopes. It is a necessary complement to cancer treatment.

Surgery Experience

Every patient surgical experience varies, but the benefits many patients experience with minimally invasive robotic surgery include a shorter hospital stay, less pain, and less risk of infection.

Get Back to Your Active Life Sooner

Robot-assisted surgery is a less invasive surgical alternative available for more complex conditions. It allows skilled surgeons to use smaller incisions and achieve greater accuracy in most cases, which often results in decreased pain, less need for narcotics and a lower risk of infection – factors that speed the healing process and get you back to your active life sooner.
