For Visitors

Visiting Hours and Guidelines

Visiting hours are from:

  • Monday - Friday: 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Saturday - Sunday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Two care partners/visitors may visit a patient at the same time. Care partners/visitors are permitted to rotate during visiting hours.
  • Exceptions to the number of care partners and visitors may be allowed for certain circumstances, such as end-of-life situations.
  • Overnight stays are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
  • Care partners and visitors must be 16 years of age and in good health. 

Monday – Friday, 5:30 a.m. – 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.

24/7

  • Siblings of the newborn may visit from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. accompanied by an adult

8 a.m. - 8 p.m. (seven days a week)

  • Siblings of the newborn may visit from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. accompanied by an adult
  • The care partner may stay 24/7 and the second visitor may visit from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Masks are not required for staff, patients, or visitors, with the following exceptions:

  • Masks are required for patients, staff and visitors in respiratory/droplet/airborne isolation areas.
  • Visitors and patients are encouraged to wear masks if they are experiencing symptoms of respiratory illness.

Horario de visita y directrices

El horario de visitas es de:

  • Lunes a viernes: De 5:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.
  • Sábado a Domingo: 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
  • Dos compañeros de atención/visitantes pueden visitar a un paciente al mismo tiempo. Los compañeros de atención/visitantes pueden rotar durante las horas de visita.
  • Se pueden permitir excepciones al número de compañeros de cuidado y visitantes para ciertas circunstancias, tales como situaciones de fin de la vida. Las excepciones se evalúan caso por caso.
  • Los compañeros de atención y los visitantes deben tener 16 años de edad y estar en buen estado de salud.
  • No se requieren mascarillas para el personal, los pacientes o los visitantes, con las siguientes excepciones:
    Se requieren mascarillas para pacientes, personal y visitantes en áreas de aislamiento respiratorio /con gotitas/transmisión aérea.
  • Se recomienda a los visitantes y pacientes que lleven mascarilla si presentan síntomas de enfermedad respiratoria.

  • Los hermanos del recién nacido pueden visitar de 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. acompañados de un adulto.

 

Siete días a la semana: 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.

  • Los hermanos del recién nacido pueden visitar de 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. acompañados de un adulto.
  • El cuidador puede quedarse 24 horas al día, 7 días a la semana, y el segundo visitante puede visitar de 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.

 


Health and Safety

Wash Your Hands. Be sure to wash or sanitize your hands before and after visiting your loved one. Proper hand hygiene is the best way to reduce the spread of germs.

No Smoking Campus. We are committed to caring for the health and safety of our patients, visitors, and staff. Because of this pledge, smoking and using any tobacco products is prohibited in all areas of the St. John’s campus, including exterior walkways and parking lots. People who smoke will need to refrain from smoking or leave the campus to smoke.

Cafeteria Hours

Our cafeteria is located on the Garden Level and is open Monday through Friday:

Breakfast: 6:30 a.m.- 9:45 a.m.
Lunch: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Dinner: 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday:
Breakfast: 6:30 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.
Lunch: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Dinner: Closed

Vending machines are also available in several locations throughout the hospital. 


Internet Access

Free wireless Internet is available to all visitors.
