Research and Clinical Trials

If you’re facing cancer, you are probably exploring all possible treatment options, including clinical trials. The researchers at our Cancer Institute are committed to conducting clinical cancer research ethically, safely and efficiently.

Cancer Treatment Options

Clinical trials are studies on new cancer treatments and methods of therapy. We offer access to a variety of cancer related clinical trials through our affiliation with the University of California, San Francisco’s Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. This collaboration helps to increase the availability of clinical trials in our community, so patients don’t have to travel out of the area for care.

Our Cancer Institute currently has several clinical trials open and our enrolling patients for lung and prostate cancer trials. Our researchers are also conducting a study on the effects of exercise on cancer related fatigue and depression.
