Seema Munir, DO, is a weight loss medicine specialist at Norton Thoracic Institute, St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. She is board certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine and the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Munir specializes in obesity medicine, women’s health, preventive medicine, and medicine for members of underprivileged communities. She is a member of the Obesity Medicine Association and an assistant professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine and Midwestern University.
Dr. Munir earned her medical degree at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a residency in family medicine at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago.
