Dr. Acuña is a Family Medicine faculty physician at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center.
Prior to joining the Family Medicine Center, he worked for St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center for 19 years within the Respiratory Department. His commitment and dedication to our organization has been impeccable.
Dr. Acuña’s special areas of expertise are asthma, diabetes, preventative medicine and patient education. He is able to accommodate our diverse patient population with his fluency in English and Spanish.
Dr. Acuña’s academic accomplishments include obtaining his Bachelors of Science from Arizona State University in 2001 and his medical degree from the University of Arizona in Tucson. He completed his residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center where he also served as Chief Resident.
