Adolescents can face a number of challenges while trying to master the art of growing up. If mental health issues (including depression, substance abuse, and family issues are hindering your child or teen from mastering the developmental milestones that guide them into adulthood, St. Joseph's Behavioral Health Center is here to help.

Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program

The Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP is designed for youth who need comprehensive treatment for mental, emotional, or substance abuse problems. Through this program we help our young patients learn how to identify and change distorted thinking, communicate effectively in relationships, and regain control of their lives, using the techniques of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

Our team of therapists work collaboratively with parents, doctors, and schools. When your adolescent completes the program, we put together a comprehensive discharge plan to ensure your teen or pre-teen continues to get the help they need to thrive into adulthood.
