Rapid Response Team

Our focus is patients first and quality always. We will always be there when you need us most. Our Rapid Response is an effort to address the needs of our patients and their families in case of an emergency or when the patient or their family feel urgent attention is necessary.

Rapid Response Team (RRT)

Our goal for all patients is to ensure that you are cared for in a safe environment and that your health needs are being met continuously. When there is a perception of a significant change in your condition or the condition of your loved one, or if “something just doesn’t seem right,” a Rapid Response Team (RRT) can be summoned.

Who can call the RRT?

The Rapid Response Team is a group usually consisting of a critical care nurse, a respiratory therapist and other available medical specialists who will quickly come to the patient when they are called.

Call 1-1 for Rapid Response

You or your family member can call the Rapid Response Team by dialing 1-1 on a hospital telephone.

  • If a noticeable medical change has occurred in you (as a patient) or your family member notices change in your condition and would like additional help immediately.
  • If something just “doesn’t feel right."

Please ask us for anything you need during your stay at St. Mary Medical Center. We are here to help you.
