Support Groups


St. Mary’s Medical Center is happy to host regularly scheduled educational and support classes. Please see each class’ description below for meeting details.
 

Breast Cancer Support Group

This special group promotes recovery in women diagnosed with breast cancer at any phase of their experience. Women receiving care at any institution are welcome and the class is free of charge. Sessions are conducted in an atmosphere providing a safe, secure and confidential place where women can share their stories, exchange information and learn how best to care for themselves from an experienced oncology nurse and psychotherapist. 
 
Sessions are conducted on both Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, and women are free to choose the one most convenient for them. 
 
Every Tuesday and Wednesday from 5-7 p.m.

Living Well With Diabetes

St. Mary’s presents an opportunity for better health. We offer free diabetes educational classes every Monday.

Weight Loss Surgery Support Group

This is an informative seminar for prospective patients and post-operative surgical weight loss patients. Learn more about weight-loss surgery from physicians, nurses and patients.
 
Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month. 
Meetings begin at 7 p.m.
