Governance and Leadership

In early 2019, Dignity Health joined together with Catholic Health Initiatives to create a new nonprofit Catholic health system dedicated to serving the common good: CommonSpirit Health. As a mission-driven health system, CommonSpirit is committed to building healthier communities, advocating for the poor and disenfranchised, and innovating how and where healing can happen—both inside our hospitals and out in the community.

The governance and leadership of CommonSpirit is provided by CEOs Lloyd H. Dean and Kevin E. Lofton in the Office of the CEO, by its Executive Leadership Team, and by its Board of Stewardship Trustees.
