We're committed to your care

Our top priority has always been the safety of our patients, visitors, clinicians and staff. This video is intended to share with you, five things that you will experience first hand as a patient during your next visit to a Dignity Health Emergency Department.

First, is masking for patients, staff and anyone else who enters our clinics. Please bring a mask with you to your appointment. If you do not have one, we would be happy to provide one for you.

Second, we have enhanced our screening processes. When you arrive, we will take your temperature and ask you a series of health-related questions. This process helps ensure that anyone who is symptomatic is cared for in a way that minimizes the spread of COVID-19.

Third, we have redesigned all of our main waiting areas to support physical distancing, including creating additional space between seating. All of our facilities have dedicated waiting areas for patients who have symptoms of COVID-19.

Fourth, we take cleanliness very seriously. As part of our precautions, we are carefully sanitizing our public spaces and exam rooms throughout the day.

Last, but not least, we wash our hands frequently. Hand washing is a basic and important method of reducing transmission of infectious diseases, including COVID-19.

Our goal is to make your hospital visit as safe as possible. We urge you not to delay your health care. We are here and ready when you need us.
