Dignity Health Teams Up with Toys for Tots

Dignity Health Arizona General Hospital along with four Dignity Health Emergency Room Facilities to Serve as Toys for Tots Neighborhood Drop Sites

As the holiday season nears, several Dignity Health facilities in Arizona will be teaming up with Toys for Tots for a community toy drive. Dignity Health, one of the nation’s largest health care systems, will be collecting unwrapped toys for children ages 0-12 now through December 13 at five area locations including four Dignity Health Arizona General Emergency Room facilities, as well as Dignity Health Arizona General Hospital.

“Dignity Health is honored to support this year’s Toys for Tots annual toy drive and give back to the communities we serve,” said Dr. Frederick Johnson, Area Medical Director of Dignity Health Arizona General Hospital Emergency Room. “With our conveniently located 24/7 drop-sites, we hope to collect thousands of toys for deserving kids in our community.”

The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program is the largest outreach program in the Department of Defense and collects and distributes an average of 16 million toys nationwide each year.

Dignity Health Arizona General Emergency Room facilities will be clearly marked as Toys for Tots drop sites with large holiday inflatables. Furthermore, the facilities are open 24/7, making it even more convenient for generous shoppers to drop off their unwrapped gifts for deserving children in the community.
