The mission of the Dignity Health East Valley Office of Continuing Medical Education (DH-EV CME) is to provide educational activities for physicians that enhance the quality of patient care by improving physician competence, performance and patient outcomes.
DH-EV CME activities are primarily designed to serve the needs of physicians who are credentialed at Chandler Regional Medical Center or Mercy Gilbert Medical Center. This includes employed physicians (e.g. urgent care), contracted service physician groups (e.g. ED, hospitalists, radiology) and independent physicians and groups. Some activities are also promoted to and attended by other local, regional and national physicians.
DH-EV CME activity topics are generated in a variety of ways, including:

DH-EV CME Activities Include Department-Specific And Interdisciplinary Meetings And Projects. Meeting Formats Include Regularly Scheduled Series (RSS), Conferences, Symposia, Lectures And Workshops. Projects Include Performance Improvement (PI-CME), Interdisciplinary Efforts To Improve Established Quality Measures (QI), And Physician Specialty Maintenance Of Certification (MOC). Currently, All Credited Activities Are Live Events. Creation Of Enduring Materials For CME Credit May Be Pursued In The Future.
