Our Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Oxygen Center advocates an interdisciplinary approach to wound treatment and healing due to the complex nature of chronic wounds. The combined knowledge of all health care disciplines — from surgery to primary care — is vital for effective chronic wound care management. Advanced wound healing treatment calls for physicians, nurses, and technicians who are specialty trained. Our center is comprised of a unique team of specialists all dedicated to healing chronic wounds. By following a clinically-proven pathway of Clinical Practice Guidelines, incorporating advanced wound care therapies, and performing diagnostic testing, you will benefit by experiencing faster healing outcomes.
Together with your physician, we’ll develop a treatment program based on our assessment of your individual needs.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
HBO is a medical treatment that increases the amount of oxygen in the patient’s blood, allowing oxygen to pass more easily through the plasma into the wounds to heal them. HBO chambers surround patients with 100% oxygen at higher than normal atmospheric pressure.
