New Chief Nursing Officer - Julie Hoffman

Mercy Gilbert welcomes Julie Hoffman as the hospital’s new Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). Hoffman joined Mercy Gilbert June 3, after working as the Senior Director of Nursing at Chandler Regional Medical Center in Chandler, Ariz., sister hospital to Mercy Gilbert.

“I am excited to be joining the Mercy Gilbert team” says Hoffman. “I believe that my passion and experience with Dignity Health will be valuable attributes to the leadership of our organization.”

Prior to joining Mercy Gilbert as its new CNO, Hoffman spent eight years at Chandler Regional as Senior Director of Nursing and Director of Maternal Child Health.

“We are looking forward to having Julie on board as CNO of Mercy Gilbert,” said Tim Bricker, president and CEO of Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert Medical Centers. “Her dedication to patient satisfaction and safety as well as her commitment to improving the community will augment the outstanding care that our hospital provides.”

Hoffman completed both her nursing degree and master’s degree in business at the University of Arizona in Tucson. She later went on to get her graduate certificate in public health as well as a doctorate in nursing practice. During her time with Dignity Health, Mercy Gilbert’s new CNO has had a strong interest in Perinatal Safety. She serves as co-chair for the Perinatal Safety Improvement Coalition.
