Make your admission to the hospital much easier by pre-registering, or by calling (480) 728-7301. This gives us time to gather important information about you before you arrive at the hospital. You can register online, by mail, phone at at the hospital.

Please note that when you arrive at the facility, you will still be required to provide your identification, finalize financial arrangements and sign a few forms before going to the department.

Where to Go When You Are in Labor

When you arrive at Mercy Gilbert, located at 3555 S. Val Vista Drive, Gilbert, AZ 85297, follow the signs for the Emergency Room entrance. Once you enter the Emergency Room the nurse at the admitting desk will make arrangements for you to go to triage in the Lund Family Birth Center. In triage you will have an initial assessment which may include fetal monitoring to determine if you are in labor. Depending on your condition you will be admitted for delivery or you may receive instructions to come back to the hospital once your labor has progressed.

Birth Certificate and Social Security Forms

Before you go home from the hospital you will need to complete the forms to receive your baby's birth certificate and social security card. This fact sheet will help you gather the necessary information needed to properly complete those forms.
