Brett has been with Dignity Health since 2008. His career encompasses nearly 25 years of health care management experience overseeing various hospital and medical clinic operations.
Most recently serving as the Chief Operating Officer for Dignity Health’s St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, and St. Joseph’s Westgate Medical Center in Glendale, Brett has accountability for the day to day operations of both campuses. Previously, Brett had responsibility for the Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) in the role of Chief Administrative Officer. Through effective communication, planning and relationship building with faculty physicians and system administration, Brett helped lead the creation and implementation of the vision, identity development, infrastructure and operational strategy to successfully create DHMG. He is an active leader within St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center with roles in a variety of operational and strategic committees and councils.
Brett has earned a bachelor degree in both finance and marketing from the University of Arizona and his master degree in business administration from Regis University in Denver, CO. His is also a Fellow of the National Association of Public Hospitals. He is currently a board member of Catholic Charities, a past board member and president of the Maricopa Health Foundation, and a past board member of the Arizona Association of Community Health Centers.
Brett lives in the central Phoenix area with his wife Susan and two teenage daughters who both attend Xavier College Preparatory.
