Katrina Lambrecht, JD, MBA, is the chief operating officer for Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center and Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Westgate Medical Center.
As a senior health care executive with extensive leadership experience in operations, strategic planning and business development for academic medical centers, Katrina is tremendous addition to the St. Joseph’s team, and her role is critical to continuing our mission and transforming our organization to meet the growing needs of our community.
Katrina most recently served as the health system operations vice president for the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas, an academic health center that includes four hospital campuses, Level I trauma care, and more than 80 outpatient clinics. Katrina had responsibility for three of the hospital campuses and surrounding clinics; and, she oversaw the medical staff office, care management, central referral office, access center and population health operations for the entire system. During her tenure with UTMB, Katrina expanded access to care; reduced length of stay and readmissions; negotiated and implemented hospital partnerships; aligned quality and process improvement structures; and integrated newly acquired organizations and physician practices.
Additionally, Katrina has served in leadership roles at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington D.C.; Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas; and University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. Katrina holds a Master of Business Administration and Juris Doctorate from University of Wisconsin. She has been a member of several community, professional and educational organizations, including the Teaching Hospitals of Texas Executive Committee, the Greater Angleton Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and the Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership Board of Directors.
