Thank you for your interest in the Creighton University School of Medicine (Phoenix) Cardiovascular Program. Recently Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center (SJHMC), Creighton University (CUSOM), Maricopa Integrated Health System (MIHS), and District Medical Group (DMG) joined forces to form the Creighton University Arizona Health Education Alliance. This partnership brings together a university recognized for providing outstanding training for students and residents in the health sciences and two healthcare providers known for their impressive history of caring for members of the greater Phoenix community.
The Cardiovascular Fellowship Program at Creighton University Phoenix participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). Information regarding the NRMP can be obtained on-line at http://www.aamc.org/nrmp or call (202) 828-0676. All applications will be received through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) from the Association of American Medical Colleges. Please contact your student affairs office for information regarding your schools processing procedures for ERAS applications and software.
The Cardiovascular Fellowship Program Applicant Requirements are:
- Must apply through ERAS before September 1
- Completion of an ACGME Accredited Internal Medicine Program
- Minimum Score for USMLE is 210.
- US Citizens, Permanent Residents, Green Card Holders, or J1 Visa (sponsored by ECFMG) are welcome to apply. We do not accept H1B
- 3 Letters of Recommendation, Chair or PD letter is preferred
