Family Medicine Residency
The Creighton University Arizona Health Education Alliance Family Medicine Residency Program at St. Joseph’s is a fully-accredited, diverse, unique and comprehensive three-year post-graduate learning experience. Residents receive preparation for providing complete, competent and compassionate care in any practice setting.

Our program offers eight PGY1 positions per year and is located in central Phoenix, mainly at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, serving multi-cultural patients in a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH).

When residents are not training in our PCMH, family medicine residents benefit from close collaboration with other services, residents, fellows, sub-specialties and the internationally renowned Barrow Neurological Institute.

We are always looking for new residents and value applicants from diverse backgrounds. At the Alliance, we believe diversity enhances the educational experience of our residents and faculty, and strengthens our specialty and our profession. Our residents receive excellent hands-on training and exposure to all aspects of family medicine.
