Tanmay S. Panchabhai, MD, FACP, FCCP, is a pulmonologist and critical care physician at Norton Thoracic Institute, St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center and Co-Director of the Norton Thoracic Institute Lung Cancer Program. Dr. Panchabhai is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care medicine.
Dr. Panchabhai specializes in interstitial lung disease, lung cancer, and lung transplantation. He is a member of the American Thoracic Society and a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Chest Physicians. He serves on the editorial boards of Journal of Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology.
Dr. Panchabhai earned his medical degree from Seth G.S. Medical College in Mumbai (Bombay), India. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He then completed a fellowship in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine at Cleveland Clinic. At Norton Thoracic Institute, Dr. Panchabhai serves as the Assistant Director of the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation Center and Co-Director of the Lung Cancer Program.
