Roger McCoy, MD

Roger McCoy, MD, is a family practice and sports medicine physician at University Sports & Family Medicine, part of Dignity Health Medical Group. Dr. McCoy is board certified in family practice with an added qualification in sports medicine.

Dr. McCoy’s expertise includes sports medicine and the medical care of athletes of all performance levels. He is the team physician for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Rattlers and head team physician for Arizona State University. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine, and the Association of Professional Team Physicians.

Dr. McCoy received his medical degree from Wright State University. He completed his residency at The Toledo Hospital in family practice and completed his fellowship in primary care sports medicine from Michigan State University.
