Evan Beth Taber, MD, is a perinatologist in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Taber is board certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Taber is also a teaching attending for the combined residency program in OB/GYN with Maricopa Medical Center (PIROG) and is the Medical Director for the Obstetrical Ultrasound Unit at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center and the antepartum center for Maricopa Medical Center.
Dr. Taber's expertise involves prenatal ultrasound, genetics and preeclampsia. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Taber received her medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. She completed her residency at the University of Minnesota Hospitals and Clinics in obstetrics and gynecology in 1990 and a fellowship in maternal fetal medicine at Washington University School of Medicine, Barnes Hospital, in St. Louis in 1992.
