Donna Tash, CNM, MSN is a Certified Nurse Midwife in the Center for Women's Health at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. She is certified by the American College of Nurse-Midwifes.
Donna's midwifery career has spanned over 30 years; primarily working in the East Valley where she was the first Nurse-Midwife to obtain hospital privileges and to start a private practice. Prior to helping establish the current nurse-midwifery service at St. Joseph's, Donna worked at a birthing center for over five years. She has continually been an advocate and supporter of natural childbirth and breastfeeding.
Donna received her Bachelor's degree in nursing from Pennsylvania State University. She completed the Nurse Midwifery program at the University of Arizona and earned a Master's degree in Maternal Child Health from Arizona State University
