Meet Dr. Brady Heaps, MD

About Dr. Heaps

Education

BS in Biology from Brigham Young University. 

 

Medical Degree at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston in Houston, Tx. 

He was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alphas for top academic performance.

Orthopaedic surgery residency at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery.  

Completed a fellowship in orthopaedic sports surgery at the acclaimed Kerlan-Jobe in Los Angeles, CA.

Specialties

Dr. Heaps specialize in operative and non-operative treatment of sports injuries.  He performs ultrasound guided shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and ankle injections.  He performs arthroscopic shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee sports injury reconstructions.  He also specializes in "Tommy John Surgery", Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) reconstruction, and meniscal/cartilage repairs.

Biography

Dr. Heaps was born and raised in Provo, UT.  He was awarded the Todd J. Albert Leadership Award Winner my Chief Year.  He was the head team physician for Eagle Academy for Young Men in the New York City Public Schools Athletic League, and the league physician representative.

CA. He was an assistant team physician for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Anaheim Ducks, Los Angeles Galaxy, Los Angeles Sparks, Los Angeles Black Storm, and the San Diego Gulls.  He has multiple primary author publications and national presentations in orthopaedic sports surgery.

Dr. Heaps enjoys time with his wife and three children.  In his spare time, he enjoys weightlifting and playing with his two labradoodles.
