About Dr. Motzkin

Education

Dr. Motzkin earned a BS in Biology from the University of California, Berkley, CA.

 

He completed his Medical Degree and orthopaedic surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN.

 

Dr. Motzkin completed a fellowship in sports injuries, trauma, and fractures from the Tahoe Fracture and Orthopaedic Clinic in Tahoe, CA.

 

Specialties

Dr. Motzkin specialty is in operative and non-operative treatment of sports injuries, fractures, and arthritic hips and knees. He performs both anterior and posterior joint replacement surgeries.

Dr. Motzkin focuses on innovative clinical care and the pursuit of excellence through scholarly activities which allows him to provide patients with state-of-the-art patient services and exceptional patient experiences. 

Biography

Dr. Neil Motzkin is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty fellowship training in operative and non-operative treatment of sports injuries, fractures, and arthritic hips and knees.

Dr. Motzkin focuses on innovative clinical care and the pursuit of excellence through scholarly activities which allows him to provide patients with state-of-the-art patient services and exceptional patient experiences.

He is the author of multiple journal articles and has presented his research at national conferences. Dr. Motzkin is also clinical professor of orthopaedic surgery at the Creighton Medical School, Phoenix Campus.

Dr. Motzkin moved to Arizona from California. In his spare time, he enjoys time with his wife and two daughters and taking hikes with his dog experiencing the local Arizona beauty and nature.
