Dr. Garcia is the former chairman of the Family Medicine and has been with the organization for over 20 years. He has served on several committees and St. Joseph's. He is the pas president of the Arizona Geriatric Society and is current president of the Arizona Academy of Family Physicians and the Arizona Academy of Family Physicians Foundation. Dr. Garcia has received six teaching awards from St. Joseph's family medicie residency program and was named one of the "Top Docs" by Phoenix Magazine in 1997, 2001 and 2003.
