Volunteer

Volunteering is one of the most rewarding ways to help your community. At St. Mary's, volunteers are vital to our patients, visitors, and staff. So why not dedicate your time and talents to serving others for a few hours a week? It can lift people's spirits, including your own.

By volunteering at St. Mary's, you will join a team of dedicated people delivering the highest quality patient care. It is our belief that working together as a team and sharing a common objective of excellent service has earned St. Mary's  recognition of being one of the finest health care providers in the Bay Area.

Why Volunteer?

It's healthy. People who help their communities help themselves to a heightened sense of well-being and improved mental and general health. Studies have shown that people who volunteer tend to be healthier and happier—a higher quality of life comes with staying active and involved in our community.

It's rewarding. Health care volunteers have the opportunity to help out during difficult or even critical times in people’s lives, particularly when extra support and friendship can make a world of difference.

It's educational and fun. Volunteering in health care gives us an opportunity to learn about healthy lifestyles and also take advantage of many services and programs offered.

What Are The Volunteer Benefits?
