Sister Mary Philippa Health Clinic
The Sister Mary Philippa Health Center is central to our commitment. We have a comprehensive, well-coordinated program of outpatient health services. Our attending physicians, residents, fellows, nurses and other staff serve people from many different social and ethnical groups.
What We Offer
We work with the San Francisco Department of Public Health and several community agencies to provide primary care for their clients, providing:
- Adult primary care
- Medical and surgical specialties
- HIV care
- Advice nurse
- Social services
- Translation services
- Patient advocacy
- Diabetes education
- Free blood pressure screenings every Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
- School-based education and psychological testing for parochial schools
The agencies include: Shanti Project, New Leaf Community Services, Baker Places, Walden House, Delancy Street, and the Tenderloin AIDS Resource Center.
Location and Hours
The Sister Mary Philippa Health Center is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., except on Tuesdays when we open at 10 a.m.
We are located at 2235 Hayes Street, 5th floor, near the intersection of Hayes and Shrader Streets in San Francisco.
