Primary care health services for all USF students
Dignity Health Medical Group – Saint Francis/St. Mary’s provides students attending the University of San Francisco (USF) with primary care services. All USF students have access to the Medical Foundation Care Center services during regular business hours regardless of their health insurance coverage.
Students with preferred provider organization (PPO) insurance will not be charged the co-payment for the office visit. Students with Kaiser (HMO) insurance are highly encouraged to go to Kaiser or their HMO medical home to reduce their out-of-pocket cost for health care services. Although there is no cost to students for the office visit at a Dignity Health Medical Group – Saint Francis/St. Mary’s Care Center, students may incur fees for immunization, laboratory tests, and radiology services that are needed to evaluate a student’s health concerns.
Students younger than 18 years of age can be seen at the care center, but will need informed consent of a parent or legal guardian before care or treatment can be given.
