SAN ANDREAS, CA – January 14, 2019- Mark Twain Medical Center (MTMC) is proud to announce that they have successfully recruited Board Certified Pediatrician Dr. Fatma Haney to the Angels Camp and Arnold Family Medical Centers, where she will care for patients in the Tri-County area.
“We are very excited to enhance our Pediatric care services with an additional caring and well respected physician,” commented Larry Philipp, Interim CEO, “Dr. Haney comes from a rural setting and understands the significant value of providing care in an underserved population. She is a well experienced and very qualified pediatrician that will enhance our services and commitment to our patients and their families.”
Dr. Haney received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Facilities in Cairo, Egypt.
She completed her pediatrics residency at Martin Luther King Drew Medical Center. She has been a Board-Certified Physician for more than 20 years. After she finished her residency in Los Angeles, Dr. Haney then was invited to join one of the largest pediatric group practices in the Los Angeles metro area; where she worked for 8 years where she became a senior partner. In 2007 she moved to join a pediatric group practice in Roswell, New Mexico. Where she became a partner and further developed her clinical skills and took on numerous leadership roles. Including the role of Director of the Immunizations for four practice offices.
In her free time Dr. Haney enjoys...skiing, listening to music, attending plays, traveling, and the opera. Dr. Haney has joined the Arnold Medical Center with providers Mike Kifune, MD, Stephanie Peffer, FNP, and Ann Radford, NP. As well as the Angels Camp Medical Center team of Gynecologist Ali Parsa, MD; Star Hildabrand, PA; and Behavioral Health Counselor Diana Peck, LCSW.
