Director of Graduate Medical Education

Leti Fernandez, MBALeticia Fernandez, MBA

Leticia has worked in Graduate Medical Education for over 15 years. She is a Stockton native and a graduate of the University of Phoenix.

She began her GME career as a Program Coordinator at a local hospital where she dedicated 15 years of service. Her experience includes working in the ambulatory clinical care setting, medical records, vital statistics and  patient access departments.

She then transitioned to work for Public Health, for three years, as a Program Supervisor.

She soon realized that her passion was in graduate medical education and accepted a position in Washington State as a Resident Program Manager.

She joined St Joseph’s Medical Center and assumed the role of the Director of GME on July 1, 2019. 

As a leader for graduate medical education at St Joseph’s Medical Center, Leticia strives to ensure each residency programs remain in compliance with the ACGME accreditation guidelines.
