No one anticipates an emergency, but if one happens, knowing you have Marian Regional Medical Center ready to care for everything from broken bones to major trauma can help you feel a little better.

If You're Experiencing An Emergency, Please Call 9-1-1

Marian Regional Medical Center is a STEMI Receiving Center designation from Santa Barbara County's Emergency Medical Services Agency to treat ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) heart attacks.

The emergency room at Marian features 32 private exam rooms and three trauma rooms and treats patients of all ages. We have a fast-track for non-emergency, urgent care situations and a critical care area.

Any patient who needs emergency care has access to everything they need, from a comprehensive lab to a dedicated imaging center with a 64-slice CT scanner and a digital radiology room.

Marian is designated as a Level II Trauma Center, which means our emergency department provides prompt assessment, resuscitation and stabilization of injured patients. Key elements of our Level II Trauma Center include 24-hour immediate coverage by emergency medicine physicians, and the availability of general surgeons and anesthesiologists.

Emergency Room Parking

Marian Regional offers Complimentary Assistive Parking Service for Emergency Room patients and their loved ones. Our professional parking service is offered in the Emergency Services drop-off driveway between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m., seven days a week.

Uniformed attendants will greet you at the front entrance of the hospital. They'll communicate with emergency employees about your needs and then escort you to the ER.
