Vikram Deka, MD, FACS, is a Faculty Physician with Dignity Health Medical Group, working as a Surgeon within DHMG Family and Specialty Medicine – Paradise Valley.
Dr. Deka’s is board certified in general surgery, however, his expertise includes robotic surgery, advanced minimally invasive surgery, general surgery, and trauma surgery as well.
He is a member of and fellow in the American College of Surgeons, American Hernia Society, and Phoenix Surgical Society. He is the Medical Director for Robotics in General Surgery at Dignity St. Joseph's Hospital, as well as an active member of the International Hernia Collaboration and Robotic Surgery Collaboration.
Dr. Deka’s received his medical degree from Texas A&M College of Medicine and he completed his training in General Surgery at Banner Good Samaritan - Phoenix.
Special interests include_robotic surgery, hernia surgery, minimally invasive abdominal surgery, melanoma. Dr. Deka is committed to the delivery of benchmark-level surgical care and the development of individualized patient plans, with a strong belief that the patient should have an active role in their care.

James Bogert, MD, FACS, is a faculty surgeon with Dignity Health Medical Group, based out of St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Bogert’s expertise includes trauma, critical care, and emergency general surgery and he is board certified in general surgery and surgical critical care. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma.
Dr. Bogert received his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, Arizona. He completed his postgraduate medical training in general surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and a fellowship in trauma and critical care at the University of Texas at Houston, Texas Trauma Institute
Special interests include the operative repair of rib fractures and abdominal wall reconstruction.

Charles Hu, MD, MBA, FACS is the medical director of Trauma, Critical Care, & Acute Care Surgery for Dignity Health Medical Group, based out of Chandler Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Hu’s expertise includes management of critically injured patients and emergency general surgery, and he is board certified in surgery and surgical critical care. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Board of Surgery, Society of Critical Care Medicine, and Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma.
Dr. Hu received his medical degree from Wayne State University. He completed his training in general surgery at Wayne State University and a fellowship in surgical critical care at Washington University, Saint Louis. Dr. Hu’s special interests include complex rib fractures repair and chest wall reconstruction, complex ventral hernia repair, and treatment of ventilator associated pneumonia.
