The Dignity Health Medical Group Plastic Surgery and Specialty Orthopedics department at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center is dedicated to serving people with a need for plastic or reconstructive surgery due to injury, overuse, or disease. Each of our surgeons are fellowship trained in plastic surgery, and some of our surgeons offer additional services in hand surgery.

Plastic surgery at DHMG

All of Dignity Health Medical Group’s plastic and reconstructive surgeons are fellowship trained and either board certified or working towards their board certification. When you choose a physician who is certified, you can be confident he or she meets nationally recognized standards for education, knowledge, experience and skills to provide high quality care in a specific medical specialty, above and beyond basic medical licensure.

Non-pharmacological pain management solutions

  • Musculoskeletal (MSK) pain management
  • X-Ray guided spinal injections for the cervical, lumbar and sacral region
  • X-Ray guided radiofrequency ablation for hip, knee, and for cervical, lumbar and sacral pain
  • Ultrasound guided procedure for joints, bursa, and tendon issues

Teaching tomorrow's doctors

Our department is a highly respected training site for medical students who are a part of the growing programs at Creighton University Medical School, Maricopa Integrated Health System (MIHS), Banner, University of Arizona Hand and Microsurgery Fellow Program, Mayo Plastic Surgery Resident Program and St. Joseph’s General Surgery Resident Program. Our plastic surgeons work to provide exceptional care for their patients while assisting in the training and coaching of future talent as well.
